Story Number 1 – 

I couldn't find anywhere specific to post a recommendation, so I thought I'd stick it here;

Gregg from Fuse Hosting just sorted us out with our domain and hosting after we got talking here at UKSMF. Despite keeping our pages at the various different social networks, the whole process of registering the domain and getting the best kind of hosting has always been something of a mystery to me.

Gregg's website makes it easy to pick the right package, and the man himself is always on hand to answer any queries about how it all works. The process of selecting the domain right the way through to purchasing the package is quick and easy, and despite it sometimes taking up to 72 hours to get the whole thing processed, he was able to get ours sorted almost immediately.

Story Number 2 -

Well this will pretty much reflect what I already said in my introduction in the Sell Yourself forum, we were struggling to get noticed as a reputable and experienced group of mobile valeters, until we met with Craig one of the management of this forum.

He gave us some great advice and also re-branded shall we say our image. Since he re-worded our brochures and changed the layout and suggested a few other things to add value to our business it is going from strength to strength.

Within 24 hours of Craig helping us we have gained 2 new very large clients, one of which is Vans Direct, www.vansdirect.co.uk and the other is a Car Showroom in Cardiff who we will be adding to our site shortly once they have given us their blessing etc.

I am not very good at the Sales & Marketing game and I had pretty much given up on leaflet drops etc until Craig pointed out where we were going wrong.

So my success on this occasion was down to well designed brochures and leaflets and great wording and the portrayal of a great new image with slogan. It really does work when done correctly.

This site is a great service to those of us who are not naturals at the sales and marketing thing, I take my hat off to the owners.

Story Number 3 –

I have just nominated* www.salesandmarketingforums.co.uk myself, I have been visiting this forum at least twice a day since joining about 3 or 4 months ago.

Why did I nominate this forum?

I have never been "personally" called regarding a thread that I have started on a forum, Dave, (admin) regularly calls me and offers me even more advice with regards to my new business, I have never felt more comfortable and welcome on any forum.
I mention this forum to at least two people that I talk to everyday, there is only one place where you can get such valuable information regarding sales and marketing, and that’s on this forum, can you imagine how much you would have to pay to get such an insight into sales and marketing?

I recommend this forum to anyone in business, sales and marketing is a must for any business, what UKSMF is offering users here, is even more of a must-its FREE!

Absolutely cracking forum, see you on there!
